Ok, heres the short version.

Unless you have an 'unpatched' copy of GTA Liberty City Stories (This means that the update it comes with is 2.00) you can't use homebrew.

if you have it, you need to update to 3.03

then you can downgrade to 1.50

this will allow you to run eboots (the "executeable" formate for the PSP).

Check the tutorial Section (see the Master List) for help on downgrading.

We have tutorials in our tutorial section for the steps that Supashay recommends. The information he has provided is accurate as well. At the top of our tutorial section, in a "stickied" thread, we have a "Master Guide to All Tutorials". Like Supashay says, if you have an unpatched version of Grand Theft Auto Liberty City Stories, then you will be able to downgrade and have access to homebrew. You WILL NEED that game, unpatched, to downgrade.

also for GTA if you cant find a copy your best choice would be ebay.
