Can someone answer me this question, before i have a..

heart-attack!!!!

Will the normal psp be left aside, while they(Team M33... etc) are gonna continue their custom fw upgrading via the psp slim????
So that means i need a psp slim to catch up with the latest custom fw's??

sorry if this doesnt help: no, the original psp well not be casted away. They would only do that if there was a major difference in the psp slim(which there really isnt). If they are planning on doing that it would hurt sony's business. I'm sure sony is just doing the same old routine like they did to the ps one and ps2(knowing this it'll happen to the ps3 as well)

I'm sure a lot of us feel the same way you do, prodota. My fat psp is just as useful, in fact, even MORE useful than a slim psp is to me (at least right now).

They (M33) and maybe other teams will still work on the normal PSP because its still on top because it will run apps, iso's, and emulators better then the Slim PSP. The only difference in the new PSP and the old one is that its smaller, has the audio on the front and not on the bottom, and that you can plug it into a computer/T.V..

yeah I agree. I still want a second analog stick function. if they actually did that then the original psp would be rendered useless cuz of the new games that might use both analog, sadly it will not happen.
