DevHook to run 2.8 or even 3.1 firmware games?

Hi I grabbed a version of dev hook by accident and I've gotta say this is the FKN best thing out there seriously!! BUT I want to be able to run a game that I brought that is 2.82 and my copy only supports up to 2.72, is there a way to get it to suppor higher? Like 2.82 or even 3.1? (there is another new game I want buy but it needs 3.1)

Sorry if this a stupid question and I am searching for the answer as we speak, but you guiys seam to know your stuf so I tought I' ask to see if some one can point me in the right direction.

I'm not sure what firmware your on, but all you have to do is upgrade to a custom firmware. I mean really, the latest ones out are 3.52M33-4 and 3.60M33(for the slim psp's). So all you need to do is upgrade to whatever custom firmware you want (there are also 3.40OE-A and 3.03OE-C) and pop in the game and it should work. You could always download an iso though of the game, use UMDGEN v4.0 and change the required firmware to lower then whatever firmware you have. But I would highly suggest to just upgrade to a better custom firmware then whatever your at now, since there is no need to use devhook now really.
