playing psx games on slim v3.71 psp

I bought a platinum slim PSP 2 weeks ago, and I updated it to version 3.71 before I knew what homebrew was. (I'm still very new to homebrew).

I want to be able to play GameBoy Advance, Sega, SNES, and Playstation 1 games on my PSP.

I looked at the tutorial called "[Tutorial] Ultimate Starters/Newbies Guide" and it lists links to downgraders, but none are for 3.71, except is says Pandora's battery is universal.

1. Will pandora's battery work for my psp?
2. Which custom firmware would be my best choice to do what I want it to do?
3.03 OE-C
3.40 OE-A
3.52 M33-4
3. I plan on buying playstation 1 games to put on my psp, but i don't know how to do that...I read something about UltraISO, CloneCD and CDRWin, but I don't have any details.


Can someone give me as much detailed information about this as possible? even if you think it's something that's well known, i probably don't know about it. I've been on this site for a total of 1 hour. It'd be amazing if you could just give me a step by step process on how to do this, and then we can put it in the tutorials section or something....

sweet, thanks for the help. the only thing I dont like is the part where you said i have to have another psp with homebrew already on it I don't know anybody else with a psp, let alone someone that has homebrew on it...

Several websites have people who can make your a pandora battery, or if you tell us your location maybe one of the members can help you out. Other then that, no not really.

wow, that's really nice of you...i'm in Des Moines, Iowa. yeah i'd be willing to ship it to you. Maybe you could do the whole process of putting homebrew on it (downgrading, upgrading, installing emulators, etc.) for a little cash?
