Alright well since no one has ever asked me that, I never went after an answer so I don't know what kind of motherboard I'm on or how to find out

When I got my PSP from Gamestop, it was a 1.50 nad then this is hte firmware I went through:

1.50>3.40 OE-A>3.51 M33-3>1.50 (recovery)>3.40 OE-A>3.51 M33-3>3.40 OE-A>3.51 M33-3>1.50 (recovery)>3.40 OE-A>3.52 M33-3>semi-brick>1.50 (recovery)>3.52 M33-4>3.71 M33-2 w/ 1.50 kernel addon

DPM has a nice tutorial on how to find out your motherboard. Did you get ur psp around the time it came out? If so dont mind what i said. Try doing pandora and going up again. This should stop the sudden freezes. If not go up to 3.71. I have only had a freezing problem going to USB in this firmware. But in configuration it works good
