Alright guys here's the story I wanted to get 3.71 M33 for my PSP fat I am currently at 3.52 M33 I need to get either update #3 or update #4 I go to QJ to download the #4 and it says that I need a password to do so. I go to the downloads section here and they dont have either of them (Or at least I didn't see them, the search just brought up random stuff). I go to QJ for #3 again and update it on my PSP and It semi-bricks and I recover back to 1.50 and go back to 3.40 OE-A. I search google and a lot of the sites require I sign up, I sign up on a lot of them and this anti-virus message on my computer doesn't let me do the following: download from the forum, sign up, or get the activation code. The computer is really jacked up and won't even come up with some of the sites. So please for the sake of car tires can someone give me a link or attachment for the #3 update or the #4 update that doesn't require a download, signing up, or anything out of the ordinary so I can get on with my life...

Well i cant provide you with a direct download but head on over to psp-hacks.com. They have all the files needed. Under downloads>firmwares>custom firmware.

There you go. And try disabling the Antivirus. AVG?

I have no idea why the #3 update semi bricked your psp. just go up to #4 instead. Dont forget to grab the 1.50 thing for 3.71M33 (kinda hard to forget about something that important)

we really need to redo/update our download section. I have been wanting to grab downloads and have had to go to other sites. The 1.50 isnt a plugin either. It more flashes into your 3.71 is a better way to put it

The downloads section is "working" - but it isn't working in the same sense as before. It has issues uploading files. I'll try to contact monkeymaximus.

thanks DPM. It would be nice if we had a better search feature on it too. I could search for M33 and sometimes it works and others it doesnt. Its like you have to type the exact name of the file for it to work. Maybe a moderator for the downloads somehow? lol

alright remember when i said my PSP semi-bricked at update #3 (retorical)? Well that happed as soon as I turned on the PSP it said M33 vsh menu and had like 5 lists and my I couldn't press any buttons and then after 1 minute it turned off now with update #4 the same thing happens but randomly and less often... like I said my goal is 3.71 M33, will this problem be fixed when I update from 3.52 M33-4 to 3.71 M33???

Maybe you can make a video and upload it somewhere and show us. Its kinda hard to understand. I know its hard to explain to prolly.

Is there anything you know you do that makes that happen. The only other thing you might want to try (i dont know what this might do) is use pandora on it. Make it go back to default this way. This adds all the original files on it as you know and then try to upgrade again. I never had a problem with 3.52-4. Mostly because iv done the pandora battery on it a few times. But i have had problems with 3.71. When i go to USB sometimes it freezes. DAX- maybe a 3.71-3????

Oh, well it hasn't shown up for some time now after i disabled the use vsh menu in recovery mode, i think that did the trick

another problem I had with 3.40 OE-A and 3.52 M33-4 is htat hte volume randomly mutes, any ideas?

Wait. What Motherboard are you? how did you downgrade? those are 2 key ?'s that need to be answered before. The reason for the downgrade is because once you downgrade it sometimes deltes some code and accidentally forgets it did that.
