psp slim limitations

how compatible is the slim with homebrew? for example can it run emulators and such?

Im not sure correct me if Im wrong but I believe DA has made a compatible CFW!

there is 3.71-2 M33 for slim. ITs like the fat psp EXCEPT no 1.50 kernal is made yet. IT isnt clear if DAX will make one or not. But as of now a lot of Emulators and Homebrew games wont work. They have to be specially programed for 3.xx kernal. But as i said i bet DAX is working on a 1.50 kernal for slim since he made a screen program thing for the slim unbricker

It's not as compatible as the FATTY version (which is a given at this early stage) Emulators are being ported almost daily for the Slim though.

I think i'd rather just stick to 3.40 OE-A or 3.52 M33 where everything works, no need to update till a game i want requires a higher firmware.

thats what i needed to know. i have to test everything out before i start doing it to other peoples stuff

An eloader has been made that will help run a ton of the old 1.50 kernel programs on the slim because it has a 1.50 kernel built into the eloader. It's not 100%, but if I had a slim, I'd definitely have that.
