ok i have dsl and i wanted to know if i can go on the internet with my psp with it. When i go to internet connection my psp says 100 percen signal but i say i need the IP adress. how can i found this address. is on my modem box?

i have a 2wire modem for dsl. but when i search for a signals with my psp it says 100 percent.

my connection is wireless, so when i make my network settings, i just go to scan and it finds my ip address and dns servers and all that. but you can also just go to here and it will show your address. or just go to Start/All Programs/Accessories/Command Prompt/Type in "ipconfig" and it will give you all your settings.

what about the web key

Um...kellytna, you need a wireless router/ WiFi MAX if you want to use your psp to connect to the internet. Unless you have one and you don't know it. Or maybe your picking up someone else's signal idk. Probably picking up DPM's signal with that huge biquad antenna thing hes got now.
And when you use ipconfig that finds the IP of your computer, the PSP needs to have it's own IP assigned to it.

And you mean the WEP key? You have to configure your wireless router to use WEP, it's like a password, or a very light security tool.

You can, you just need an access point.

For my psp i use a 'wep' key if thats what you mean, i think it is also called the incryption key or something. i need to put that in, it is a sort of password for me to be able to access the internet from my router. You just gotta look at the information of your router(if you have one) and if you dont then get one!
