3.71 m33-2 Downgrade or Recovery...

Yesterday I was trying to flash with XMB Beta, and when it all finished the psp restarted and there was a black screen. The next thing I tried was to go to the recovery and did the flash01 format thingy, it helped a little the only thing is that when the psp restarts it gets stuck at the " Sony Computer Entertainment" screen. I was wondering if there was a way to do a downgrade or something like a recovery because I can still access the recovery. I know there is a way with the pandora battery but I dont know anyone that I can borrow a psp so if there is a vay to fix this please let me know.

Yeah just use recovery mode place a 1.50 FW EBOOT.PBP file PSP>GAME>UPDATE>RECOVERY>

I think this is where you put it you can just check though by going to recovery mode and reading that really lon option on the first page

crap

i had an issue with 3.71m33 and i tryed to recover you know what i got... a paperwait. the best thing i can tell you is use pandora. it will flash you all the way back to 1.50 than just stay off 3.71 i dont trust the firmware at all. i have since fixed my psp after bribing and baging my way on to computers and other psps but be worned.

Man I disagree totally, I have gone throught many PSP's and kajillions of firmwares and there's really no tangible risk with recovering from a 3.71 M33 rather than giong through all the trouble of Pandora

If there was another way without using Pandora waht would it be? Because for Pandora I need another PSP which I dont have access, say I wanted to downgrade using recovery mode what would I need and how would I do it?

Stick a 1.50 eboot in the RECOVERY folder. That's bout it. But you can use dpm's method to make the pandora's batt. It's like you have to desolder one of the points on the batt. I'll look for a link.

wow i was out to lunch i have no idea what i was thinking you never even mentioned that did you.

ok heres my new idea we can just reinstall 3.71m33 on the psp could we not? insted of puting a recovery eboot we could just place the eboot for 3.71m33. it would re write all the needed files and fix all of the problems. some one tell me thats not just stupid
