games error on homebrew CFW 3.95

i had m-33 3.9 and whenever i tried to launch a homebrew game it would go through the whole white psp thing and then return home and says. the game could not start 80020148. so i decided to upgrade firmware to 3.95 and wouldnt you know it same thing. i tried changing umd settings. i cant find a 1.5 add on for 3.5 so idk what to do. please help

Well it sounds like you need a 1.50 kernal Add on, I am assuming you are on Phat, in that case just upgrade to 5.00m33
Other wise if you are 3000 or slim, I have no idea what to do.
