HALO3 vs Call of Duty4

I am wondering, now that both games have been out for a while, which one is more popular and why.

i like halo3 better because of online. when COD4s online gets better then maybe i will change my mind

halo3 suck story line good but it 2 short and way 2 EZ
and u have to pay to play online WTF thatgame is like on the lowest of my list(WOW is like the last 1)

i havent play COD4 yet or online yet

when i try to play online

eh their both 2 total different games and cant really be compared in my opinion because theyre both great and they both have their unique ups n downs. The gameplay is totally different too.

COD4 = Slow, take your time camping to kill people.
Halo 3 = Fast paced, move it or lose it.

The story line for Halo 3 sucked, story line for call of duty was amazing.

Like i said though...in my opinion theyre two total different games and cant really be compared but for the sake of voting im gonna have to vote for halo 3.

I'd have to say that Halo 3 is better even though I haven't touched Call of Duty 4. I think COD4 looks like a fantastic game, but when Halo 3 has more people caught up in just the HYPE of the game, that's gotta tell you something. For me, I think I might personally like COD4 more if I gave it time, but I can't lie... Halo 3 probably won't be beat anytime soon. Multiplayer + Halo = a completely different game.

but call of duty is killing halo 3 and it shows since it sold more then halo 3 ON THE XBOX...
maybe thats wrong but thats what i heard

I'd be very, VERY skeptical of that bit of information farquezy. Halo 3 was the largest "media" release of ALL TIME and made more money than any movie, cd, or game ever released before. I'd, modestly, say that Halo 3 might have sold more units on day 1 than COD4 has altogether so far. Of course, I'm basing my prediction on very few facts, but I think you are a little off on this one.

You should find some sales statistics, farquezy. I'd be interested in seeing just how many units have been sold on each side.

Yea DPM, thats what I thought too, it had like over a million sales within the first 24 hours of it being in sell. Well lemme look at wikipedia..
