Sega Saturn

What if Microsoft bought those old Sega Saturn titles and sold them on Xbox Live Arcade? Wouldn't it be cool to play Panzer Dragoon Zwei or some of those other great Saturn exclusive titles on 360?

i think it would be a good idea for Microsoft to do what nintendo is doing. Sell all thos past gen titles on Live Arcade. It would be sweet.

thats why i think Wii will win........I like 360 A LOT but ever since i heard Nintendo announce that they will probably step out of the home console race IF they didnt do good this time i have supported them. I hope they beat PS3 and i kinda hope they tie with 360.

just thinking about all the old sega games on there would sell me to buy it. I never had a sega anything but my cousin did and when we were at his grandmas house we played sonic. I like it.

Well I am hoping word of this spreads because as I stated Panzer Dragoon Zwei would be really sweet with a next gen update. It has been almost 10 years! I can think of some less worthy titles that have had an undeserved showing on xbox live.

The Saturn had a lot of potential... it's a sad shame it died out. I've thought it would be a good idea for Nintendo to make old Nintendo systems again, and Sega to make old Sega systems again... playing classics on the Wii, or even on emulators on PC or PSP just don't equal the actual console experience.

This link shows that not only is it possible to emulate the Saturn it might even make it on the homebrew scene in the future:

The only thing cooler than Saturn on a console would be Saturn on a portable!

OMG!! The gods have answered my prayers!!

http://pspslimhacks.com/sega-saturn-psp ... -released/

To anyone interested...

The Emulator works but is a bit slow and choppy... for now. I do not think I can play Panzer Dragoon Zwei on it at this point even by overclocking my PSP CPU to 333Mhz of course this is still a beta release and the version I downloaded (.9xx) did not come with documentation but if you own a Saturn like I do there is no need for any.

Return to Xbox 360
