Halo 3

Image

Its an awesome game and i would recommend it to everyone. I played it on my cousins 360 last night and it was great. Much much better than Halo 2 to me. I will post more when i actually get the game in a few weeks (Christmas!)

Some things i liked:

CAMPAIGN!,

1.Great look and feel. Much better then Halo 2. Even tho i only played it for a little while i could tell it was very well thought out.
2. New enemys to blast their brains out. One guy you shoot and then all that happens is that his armor falls off and then his skin is like even stronger. He is cool.
3. Those enemys are smarter. They actually run away when u throw a plasma grenade.
4. Awesome graphics (a given)
5. Save films feature. Most people wont even notice this until they do something awesome in the game and want to watch it again.
(such as in this video http://www.xbox360fanboy.com/2007/10/04 ... tick-evar/)

6. Controls. Even tho people will be mad that the control scheme is slightly different after you get used to it u will never want to go back.
7. Bubble shiled, Gravity lifter, and much more.
8. New maps.
9. Armor Customization....Enough said.

10. ONLINE!

Gameplay was really cool. (post more later)

Things i didnt like:
I got lost :P It was my own fault tho i guess (even tho the Game did lead me that way). I quickely got back to where i was intended to go.

Everyone knows it....99% of people Love it. Im one of that 99%..

We see a lot of comments about how the newer games on the 360 are "short", Halo 3 being one of them... and the more I hear about the 360 having "short" games, I can't help but think that a single layer of a blu-ray disc can hold up to 27gb of data, versus the 8gb of data on DVD format. It's pretty obvious that when the PS3 matures, it will be on top... but I'm having trouble predicting "when" the PS3 will reach that status.

Yea, I think the PS3 will be doing great sometime in the future, but it is tempting to buy a 360 now. But this game would be a must if I got a 360.

The campaign and graphics were all top notch to me, they all met my expectations

About the online play.......

I was very, very diappointed by the Multiplayer Maps in Halo 3.

I can't say that I can ever get excited about playing any of them. They just don't seem to have the same dynamic that the Halo 2 maps did. They are very awkward to get around (e.g Construct), and I dislike how the Ranked Free For all playlsit has only five players per match, this drags games out longer now that the maps are bigger, and there are fewer players in the matches. I couldn't help just urging to play an action packed game on lockout, or ascension, or midship, and then getting disapoined by Oddball on epitaph, where one person gets the ball and just hides and wins, even when I'm on the winning side it's not even fun. Needless to say how brutally terrible any gametype on snowbound is, where Bungie Covered their asses by just putting up shields in fornt of doors just so you can't shoot through them. I also believe that both the Missile Pod and Falme Thrower were just gratituous, serving no purpose in gameplay at all, just to play around with, either of them could just be replaced by rocket launcers or the new eqipment (trip mines, power drains, etc.). I honestly never got bored of playing a BR Slayer match in Halo 2, yet I could just not stand playing Halo 3 anymore. The only incentive for me to keep it is to mess around in forge to try and make the maps more Halo 1 and Halo 2 oriented, as well as playing clever team games I've downloaded off other people, such as normandy beach.

To fully see my opinion, heres my blog.....
