Yup, you read the title correct, i've come thru with the find of the century . Yes, it's FREE!! I've tested it out and it works (i've accumulated about 3 months worth already). Basically tropicana twister is having some sort of contest and they end up giving away 2 day xbox live gold redeem codes for you to use on your xbox. I've found a forum with hundreds of these codes. Just keep scrolling thru the thread as multiple users have posted the codes. Most of the older posts don't work, but most of the newer posts do as they've not been redeemed yet.

well the codes work up until 2009, so you have a whole year and some to redeem them, so long as no one else gets greedy with them then you should still be able to use them.

I think that is great because the only reason I do not have a gold account now is that I do not spend a lot of time playing games online with people. I like to get my moneys worth. I know $50.00 a year is not a lot of money but I really would rather pay A la carte $5 a month because I have gone 3 months or more without powering up my system.

Most of my friends do not own a 360 or are on odd schedules so I would have no one to play with anyway.

So they are just going to continue to post 48 hour trial codes only until 2-09?

no, until the tropicana contest ends... but the codes are valid and can be redeemed up until 2009
