Read Dead Redemption is definitely the best game I've played this year so far But it was released last tuesday btw.

I got to play Red Dead Redemption for a few hours on Tuesday and it is definitely awesome. The gameplay is excellent with a bunch of side things to do.

Yea the multitude of different side "missions" you can stumble upon while traveling is crazy. Granted I haven't been playing very long, (to the part where redridge or w/e the place is called gets raided) I have yet to run into the same side mission. It cool how the thieves try different tactics to steal your horse, or how you can stumble upon some gang members trying to hang a person and you can shoot the rope, and then the gang dudes to save the guy. That and the ability to choose how you do the mission, like hog tie a guy to get the deed to his land, kill him and loot it, or simply buy it. Lots of choices.

Haha, yeah there is so much content, I was playing yesterday and got the lasso and I was lassoing a bunch of people and collecting bounties .
