Description:
Just a few minutes ago, a new version of Devhook hit Booster's download page. The details are very sketchy and wouldn't you know it, our beloved Jeff Chen isn't around to translate - but it appears that we can now emulate 2.71 Firmware using Devhook! The new v0.45 package is unlike the other Devhook releases, containing only an EBOOT.PBP file and a few other PSP files (USER.XML, BOOKMARK.XML). I would assume that you are meant to copy these files over your installation of Devhook v0.43, found below. Also making an appearance on Booster's site is a new version of the 2.71PRXDecrypter which will probably be necessary to obtain a usable dump of 2.71 Firmware. The decrypter DOES have a ReadMe, so be sure you read that!
Please note, this is so far untested so install at your own risk! If you happen to figure it out and get some installation details, drop us a line and let us know!
