Description:
If you've had enough of using MS Paint on your PC using a mouse and keyboard then why not give the latest version of Yongobongo's yPaint 'all in one' image editor for the PC, and try creating your own masterpieces using the PSP's analog stick. yPaint certainly looks good when you compare v4 to version 2 which we featured just 2 weeks ago and you'll certainly be impressed. If you aren't the type of person that gets 'wowed' by graphics, then you should check out what has been added in this version:
* File browsing - Went from a Text-Based Opener (type the name, it opens it) to a fully featured File browser for Opening PNG files Thanks to Fuzzie 360's AWESOME LowserLIB. I have modified it to support JPG and TGA loading as well, all credit to Fuzzie!
* Multiple Format Saving Menu - Press circle and a little menu comes up asking you which format to save the image as. Either TGA, JPG or PNG! Saves it to PSP/PHOTO and it tells you whether the save was successful or not
* Bug Fixes
Yongobongo found another bug soon after the release of yPaint v4, and for that reason has updated it to v4a with yet another bug fix to let you enjoy this program at it's full potential. What can you expect in the future? Yongobongo has plans to add a 'Save As' option with file name renaming support, a Circle tool, a text input tool and the ability to send pictures via IR port, or copy to memory stick so stay tuned for more updates!
