Description:
Homebrew developer becus25 just created an application that provides a second recovery function to Dark_AleX's latest custom firmware OE. According to the coder, this application will allow you to recover your PlayStation Portable (PSP) unit as well as use the autoboot function.
Also, the two recovery functions provided in this application are for custom firmwares Open Edition (OE), as well as for Increasing Edition (IE). If you want to know, becus25 uses custom firmware IE on his PSP TA-079. A couple of reminders though, this homebrew software writes to the flash0.
becus25 also mentioned that one user reported to him that the application is not compatible with PSP units with TA-082. To be safe, if your carrying TA-082 units, it is better to pass on this one. becus25 noted that the recovery function works but the PSP itself will not start.
The Readme file contains other important details as well as installation guidelines so don't forget to browse through that first.
