Description:
Homebrew developer fard0che just released a program known as PSPLive and it has all the potential to change the face of Lua homebrew games for the PlayStation Portable. Basically, this tool serves as a Lobby for multiplayer games allowing users to see the various people connected to the game.
Aside from that, PSPLive v1.01 also lets players share maps and host for each game among others. However, take note that this is not a stand-alone program. To make this easier, you can think of it as an engine which developers can integrate into their homebrew games.
fard0che shared that PSPLive v1.01 currently supports up to 20 players in one go but theoretically, the number can be unlimited. This is really exciting development and we can't wait to see what future homebrew games will be using this tool. If you want to integrate this into your projects, you can contact the developer through our "Via" link below.
And in case you want to see just the "lobby" itself, please take note that you should be on FW 1.5 before installing the program on your PSP units.
