Description:
Sony PlayStation Portable homebrew developer Zx-81 keeps the faith of old-school alive with his port of the SamCoupe Emulator for our handhelds, with its latest version not only compatible with the PSP Slim, but also has support for IR Keyboards. And this is besides Zx-81's usual batch of updates, bugfixes and new features.
For those of us not in the know, PSPSIM is pretty much a Sony PlayStation Portable port of SimCoupe, an emulator of the legendary 8-bit home computer made by the good folks over at Miles Gordon Technology. For those of us who want to get a convenient blast to the past, or simply want to check out how a SAM Coupe actually handles like, this homebrew is for you.
In the meantime, here's the changelog:
* IR keyboard support !
* Speed improvement
* New speed limiter function
* Add option to display fps rate
* Now compatible with custom firmwares 3.x and PSP-slim
* Add a simple intro splash screen
* Option to prevent the blue led to be displayed whenL or R are pressed
* New help menu
* Support iso8859-1 fonts in print text functions
* Bug fix and code cleaning
