2.6 to CFW

Hey guys,

I have a fat TA-082 PSP w/ 2.6 on it. Whats the best way to get CFW on it? I looked around the tutorial forums but didnt find anything clear. Any direction would be greatly apprecaited.

Do you have a friend of which who already has custom firmware on there psp?

Get eLoader 0.999, and any homebrew battery tool. Use the battery tool to make your battery a pandora.

Hey guys, I used the lumines exploit and now I have 1.5 on my psp. I want to upgrade to 3.90 m33-3. I am just unsure about the steps I need to take from here.

Help would be greatly apprecaited.

PS, this is my friends PSP, I already have 3.90 m33-3 on my psp. I have a question though, two problems seem to occur quite frequently on my psp. First, my anolog stick stops working, it freezes up in one direction. Second, when I exit a game my psp freezes up. Are there any solutions to these problems?

Go to Dark-Alex.org. All the CFW and OFW files are there. You might be able to go straight to 3.90 M33 from 1.50. Download the 3.90 CFW update and run it.

I need to get 3.52 first before I can get 3.90 m33-3. Do I just download the 3.52 update and put the files where they belong? Or is there something else I need to do.

alright, I figured it out. Any idea why I have those problems with my psp though? That is, the analog stick failing and not being able to exit games?

hmm, thats wierd. I just finished installing version 3.90 M33-3. However, when I check system info it says version 3.33 M33-3. More wierd is the fact that the username is March 33 and macaddress is 33:33:33 etc. What do I do from here?

It's just there to put the emphasis on the Team M33.

I dont appear to have 3.90 though. I cant run any of the new iso's. Plus, my other psp shows 3.90. Why woul dit show 3.33?

Because you can mod what it says with different programs, and Team M33 wanted to do that I guess. There isn't a CFW named 3.33 M33.

Ok, but why would one psp provide me with 3.9 and work with new isos, such as FF7, and another with 3.33 and fail to load isos?

No idea, maybe you need to mod the settings. What error codes are you getting?
