Then your options are:
1. Locate a Homebrew enabled psp.
2. Find a used psp that has not been upgraded beyond 2.xx firmware or if you are really lucky find one that has 1.50 on it.
3. Purchase a Pandora battery from the web.
4. Cut open your battery and do some soldering or pay someone at a university to do it for you.
The programmers you will one day be looking to hire are the ones reading the tech news sites right now.
And they will remember...
