New iPod

no matter what apple does with there Ipod, i think that they all look the same!
EDIT: which is quite pathetic...but it's still an Ipod.

i think that looks very nice But i still wont buy it.

I don't see how they went from originally making the gigantic memory (normal) iPods to making smaller, crappier ones that have "style". I wish they could work on their 20+ gb iPods and make THOSE have the cool features. Who wants a cool little media gadget tht doesn't have much space?

Need opinions. I can sell my iPod Mini for 160 bucks cash. Should I sell and buy a 2gb nano.

the thing about this new ipod is that it doesnt have a hard drive like the original ones. Making it having faster transfer rate and speed. Plus battery life should increase like nuts seeing how this ipod uses flash memory.

It's also nice that this one comes in black. The thing is, for $50 more than the 4 GB one you can buy a 20 GB ipod so there is really no point. I also think having the headphone jack on the bottom is a bit stupid. Don't get me wrong, I love my 40 GB color ipod, I just don't see the point in getting one that only has 2-4 GB of storage space.

this thing is suppose to be a ipod mini replacer. Its selling for the same amount as the mini. Plus it looks much nicer.

i would wait for the 8g nano ipod 2 & 4 g is just to small unless you already own a 20+ and want another for short travel. if you have an ipod already invest your money in the burton ipod jacket or backpack or the new motorola/burton jacket.

Actually, it wasn't that long ago that Samsung struck the deal with apple to mass produce their flash memory modules and sell them to apple for 50% less than they were selling them to to other companies. Prior to that a flash based ipod could not be offered at a comprable price (not counting the shuffles).

And I didn't see the point in the ipod mini either. For the price of a video game you can have 20 GB of storage space.
