wats d best thing to do wid a 2.5? also need help on how to

hi. i own a fw 2.5 with a TA-082 for a motherboard..
i want to be able to use my psp to its max capacity but don't know how or too afraid to brick it
i have seen most of the posts in the forum, most of it is for 2.6 or 2.7 fw...
i've also read that i cannot downgrade..is this still true? coz it says i have a great chance of bricking my psp
to upgrade or downgrade?

There are safe downgraders you can use You can upgrade to 2.71 and use the downgrader for 2.71 with HEN D. You could also use the 3.03 downgrader if you have an unpatched version of Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories, with the 2.00 firmware update on it.

The firm ware on my new psp is 2.80. I suppose i need to upgrade to 3.03 and then get the unpatched gta? Is there no other way for a 2.80?

uhmmm........ one thing... i dont know how to upgrade im SOOOO new at this.
how come a lot of you mods and super brewers have a 3.03?:) is it better to have a 3.03?
do i need the GTA for me to have a fw 3.03?
