upgrading from 3.11 to 3.30 oe-a

Hey all,
i'm new here and to PSP's, got mine for xmas with some games. To play i had to upgrade, so i did... and then couldn't downgrade again. This has been a viscious circle and i'm currently at 3.11. I want to upgrade to 3.30 oe-a, so i've got the files on my PSP (data.dxar and eboot.pbp) in the 330oeflasher folder.

This folder is in the game150 folder, but my PSP wont show the files if the "game" folder is called "game150", it just says there are no games.
If i re-name the folder to game, there are two files there, one is corrupted and the other is called "3.30 OE-A Firmware Install". If i then try and run the installer i get the error message "(8002014C)"

PLEASE help cos i really wanna start running homebrew on my PSP.

Oh and a side note, does anyone know if its possible to run FF7 on the PSP?

Yeah, your gonna have to wait for a new downgrader.

Ah well thanks anyway, do ya reckon a downgrader will come any tym soon??

They come out at weird, unpredictable times. I would think that it wouldn't be another month or so before we see the next downgrader come out.

If you really dont want to wait, you have 2 other options...purchasing a motherboard with firmware that can be downgraded, or purchasing a mod chip.
