So fraustrated with File:/....Content cannot be displayed!

I put the Max Arcade in the root of my memory and I have 3.40 firmware and when I go to my browser and type in file:/maxarcade/psparcade.htm it keeps saying content cannot be displayed! I even tried to put it into common....Well then I got over it but then I saw this nice devhook thingy which looked awsome and had games like mario so I put Mpp in the root of my memory then put Mpp Folder into my common like it said in the read me, but then!, I put in file:/MPP.swf but again CONTENT CANNOT BE DISPLAYED MOCKING ME! Well thanx for reading and if you have any thing you want to say about how to solve this problem,please do so!

well buddy sorry about your luck, but you cant run homebrew. in order to run homebrew you need to be firmware at 1.5 or any custom firmware. to get to custom firmware you need to upgrade from 1.5. unfortunately you cant downgrade to 1.5 from 3.40 yet. the highest firmware you can downgrade from is 3.03 and you need an unpatched version of "GTA liberty city stories" to downgrade from there.

however all is not lost... a downgrader could be out soon for 3.40 just it could take weeks or even months for that to happen....

ok, as of now you can't get 3.40 OE-A

But you don't need it to play web browser related games.

As for devhook however, you can't use it.
