3.40OE-A didn't make any new folders...?

Well I see people talking about placing eboots and stuff in the folders GAME150 and GAME340 and stuff all the time, but I have a question, when you update to 3.40OE-A from 1.5, isn't it supposed to make the files automatically? Because, it did on my friends when I upgraded his, but i have already had to update mine twice and still no luck(I didn't update it twice just to get the folders, bricked my psp :P). What are the folders anyways? I been just putting my homebrew programs in the GAME folder, turning on the hide corrupt icons option and they all work. Is it necessary to have Those two folders and the ISO folder? Just wondering... :?: What are all the other folders anyways? And where does the ISO folder go. I know with the custom firmwares there is always the GAME150, GAME340 (or whatever the fw is), and the ISO folder. Is that it? Thanks! O and should I just reformat the stick and it will make the folders? Thanks!

Alright, do the folders really matter that much anyways? O and while im at it, can I boot a psx iso strait off the mem card like I can a iso from a psp game, or do I have to make a eboot out of the psx iso? Thanks.

yeah you can play them as iso's but i dont remember the details on how to play them as iso's so hopefully someone else can help you with that. As for the folders, it all depends on what you use your psp for...you can create the folders manually if you want but its just a lot easier and less time consuming to just reformat your stick.
