Is It Safe to boost up the clock speed?

Hey i was wondering if its safe to boost up the Clock speed from defualt setting in the Snes emulators? has anyone had any problems after doing this cause i wasnt sure?

yes, its safe, so long as its up to 333. emulators for the psp has been out for a while now, and theres no comments or posts about it being harmfull to the psp. Ive tried it myself. And nothing happend to my psp. But still use at your own risk

its is cuz the psp cpu is orginally made to run at 333 and currently for all games (so far) its running at 222mhz. GT4 comes out for the psp, it will bump up the cpu to 333, and at the same time sony will release a longer lasting battery :D

i run at 333mhz i only had one problem i was playing for like three hours then a red screen came up and said restarting to psp menu in 10 secs guess cuz it was about to over heat

hmmm hats awsome dude. but i dont need to go any higher than 222. my emulator and roms run at normal speed just the way i want em. is it liek that for everybody er just me?

thats not surpirsing..my frends is like inpayable unless its at liek 266 and 5 frameskips lol. but ummmm yeah i dunno y mine is ok with its origional setings :S

yea i have to set it to 333mhz 4 frameskip 1 gamma correction and it runs like it ran on the snes

red screen??? thats crazy, i never had no problems, just make sure not to put to sleep while using an emulator, or you might develop memory card problems...
