Downgrader question 1.5x?

New to the board here!


Sorry if this has been asked before?

I wanted to downgrade to the 1.50 so as to run the home brew.
I have a new psp with 1.51x version.I had returned one allready when i upgraded
to the new 2.50 to find out it cant be downgraded.So i returned it.

When i hook up to the usb connection and plug in my cable.I get a (unformated) memory stick?
When i had the other one that i upgraded to 2.50 it had the ususall folders?

root and games photo etc.

What i am asking here is.Can i just CREATE folders myself or is there some trick to setting up
a blank memory stick?

I havn't done anything so far on this 1.5x psp.

Well if you want mostly anything good to be done u gotta make a PSP folder.The PSP folder is always made manually, it has never been made by Sony I don't think.In the PSP folder make a GAME Folder.The PSP and the GAME folder are the main folders.
In the PSP folder again, make a PHOTO folder, to input ur photos, and again input another Folder in the PSP folder called MUSIC, to input any mp3's you have.Well that's all you should create.Theres also an MP_ROOT folder that you input ur movies in but you really wouldn't have to worry about that.If you did have to u better ask someone how to input movies in.

For some reason i did not have to do anything when i upgraded the other psp?
It allready had the folders?

yea, the upgrade comes with them.U do not see all the folders that the new one had.Like it might have some different folders like System or something, those folders for 1.5 wont do anything.

u can format the memory stick via the psp just goto settings>system settings>format memory stick

If u have stuff on ur mem stick tat u dont want deleted,
DO NOT FORMAT UR MEMORY STICK THEN.Just incase u still have some stuf fon ur psp.

When i run the dg process it does something weird

It locks onto photo and shuts down.All i can do is turn it back on?

Then it jumps to the game menu and i click on the icon for 1.50

and nothing happens.I cant downgrade?
