Whats a poor boy to do, what would you do?

So iv had the PSP for long long time(day it came out >.>) so i have w/e version it came with, and its the one needed to play em.s and roms.
But now im in a bind.
I goto college,so im poor..all the time. Lately iv seen more PSPs(vs. Nintendo DS) around and i dont really use mine..cuz there just isnt any game out there i need. I do have Untold Legends and DS(dark stalkers) and some of the peeps at school also have UL.
Well today when i was on my launch break from classes i saw a friend who was surrfing the net(jk he was looking up poor..no joke) and i was like WoOT! 'cuz i didnt know my skool had wireless...so..
What would you do?
Upgrade so you can use the wireless network and play with others.
Or
Don't upgrade and still be able to dwn load games >.>

Right now im too poor to buy another PSP to upgrade and just have 2.

i say dont upgrade and use the web brower we have in our brewpack generator.

I'd say upgrade to 2.0, then when you want brew, downgrade to 1.5. I do it it works fine for me

But be careful wat ur upgrading if tats wat ur thinking.The have switched the 2.0 updates to the 2.5 updates.Look on google for a 2.0 update if u have to.

i say upgrade because there is the fanjita 2.0 eboot loader whick lets you play emulators. right now there is a verion .8 (the newest) wich is really cool since it has all the emulator i like on it working. http://www.fanjita.org/psp.html is the website. it has all the working eboots on it also.

or u can get the fired up browser from psp-hacks.com which is better than the one from here or u can get the 2.0 eboot from psp-hacks and just downgrade when u wana play homebrew that you cant with the loader

if you do get the 2.0 eboot loader get it from fanjitas website since it has all the updates for it

port when are you going to accept the fact that you can downgrade from 2.0 and run snes emulator on it too i had to upgrade for gta but once that one program i have to have comes out im be back to 1.5 in a heart beat

I know that "fact", but then again, people are saying once you upgrade and then downgrade, the Universal Media Disk for the Movies won't play anymore.

Ex. Movies like Spider-Man, Resident Evil, Once Upon A Time In Mexico and the whole stock of movies for the PlayStation Portable won't play anymore. And I don't think he would want to take that chance.

That's why I said he shouldn't upgrade.

well i just put in my umd movie blood the last vampire and it works fine so go ahead upgrade and downgrade be a man take risks

But see, then again that's your PlayStation Portable, his might do some other wierd effects that yours won't do.

if its a US psp and had 1.5 firmware on it than their will be no damaging effects and the only people that do brick their psps are noobs or people who just lie to make you scared and laugh at you while he does it

no worries i didnt upgrade. I just dwnloaded the browser from here..yet to use it..so i dont know if itll work..ill see on tuesday. Maybe ill start saveing my change from money i spend and someday in the far off future ill have enough money to buy another psp for upgradeing and whatnot..then id be kool..id ave to psp WoOt
