PS3 PKG Editor |
A PKG editor for PS3 packages that runs in your browser. It reads the package header and metadata: content ID, title ID, DRM type, content type, sizes and versions. For PS3 debug (non-finalized) packages, the usual kind for homebrew, it lists every file inside, shows the PARAM.SFO and ICON0.PNG, and saves the files you pick, like a PKG extractor.
Replace, add or remove the icon (ICON0.PNG), the overlay (PIC0.PNG), the background (PIC1.PNG) and the background music (SND0.AT3), edit the PARAM.SFO, and download the new package; a picture of the wrong size can be fitted to its slot first. The package is laid out again the way the packager that made it lays packages out, with every checksum written again, and for packages made with make_package_npdrm the package digest too. Files that keep their place are copied through and files that move are scrambled again for their new place; when the digest changes, every file is. That takes a while on a large package, and a repack can be cancelled.
Retail (finalized) packages are encrypted, so for those it shows the header and metadata only, and it never decrypts them. PSP and PS Vita packages show their header and metadata too. PS4 packages open in the PS4 PKG Viewer.
