Today just keeps getting better. Cools has released a new version of
the popular PSP Email and SMS ap, making it version 3.
Here is what was added:

  • Verizon Text Messaging support
  • New line messege support (a little buggy)
  • A whole bunch of internal changes to make the program run better
  • Added a Background selector, allows choice between 12 backgrounds

To switch backgrounds just press SELECT to open up the options menu
then SQUARE to go into the background changer.

Cools has taken time off of PSP monopoly to do this,
you should also know that an international version is on its way, allowing you to send SMS
text messages all around the world! Enjoy!

Please every one join me in an extreemly long, extreemly evil sounding lagh.  Seems as if Sony got owned again today.  The good people of Noobz.eu have succesfully modified the PSAR dumper to be able to dump and decrypt ALL KNOWN FIRMWARES!  But we know that the important thing is it dumps 3.0 and 3.01.  This amazing feat took place only 2 days after 3.0 hit the streets and im sure we are all woundering "Is Sony still trying?." any way enjoy the download below.

Brighten those teeth up folks at home, because you\’re gonna need a good smile on you\’re face once you see this new firmware! Although theres a bug on it, 3.01 is set for tommorrow or any time soon, but heres what you can expect to see once you have upgraded you\’re current firmware to 3.00 firmware!

PSP Playstation 1 Emulator

A lot of people would save this "best for last" in their opinion, but this just has to be said first!
You have waited, but by the time you finish reading this, you will be sadly dissapointed.
Sony Corporation has now dropped the Playstation 1 Emulator onto us thankfully, but from the manual, looks like if you don\’t got a PS3, then this is no use to you. Pretty expected with the new gen wars and all, but avoidably, definitaly tearful. You\’re going to have to connect to the PS Online Sony store with you\’re PSP, while its connected to the PS3 for the use to download/buy you\’re PS1 games. Thanks from qj.net for the addition update, but you will be able to share the games along with it, as long as you have connectivity with you\’re PS3 Network Account.

Remote Play +Addition

With this new feature addition installment, Sony has allowed you to play your PSP to wirelessly controll the PS3! It even lets you see (get screen function) from the PS3, onto you\’re PSP remotely! How cool is that? Although it requires you for the settings on you\’re network, it shouldnt be too hard now should it?

"Using this new mode of playback, one can control the Photo, Music, Video, and Internet Browser features of a PS3 from a remote location, vie their PSP."

Video Compatibility

In 3.00, there is now a choice to use the M-JPEG Motion video format! You can check some more info on M-JPEG the new video format at wikipedia.org \"Smile\" It will also be playing PCM and the μ-Law versions for M-JPEG vidoe formats.

Also, thanks again from qj.net for the addition on this, the Camera will now be functionally viewed from the Photo Option Menus, for easier access prior taking photos or videos.
Auto play will also be able to be enabled, or disabled.

You can download this new extraordinary environment software 3.00, from the download link below!

\"ps1\"\"psx2\"

The actual, factual, combactual…well, the emulator you have all been waiting for is finally here! Well, not exactly..argh, just let me explain :) Yoshihiro about a month or so ago, was blamed for copying code from other publicly releasers onto his emulator, but now, we could think differrent. His beta 1 release (not the alpha build) has finally been release, but with exception, to no downloads currently, without PSXP teams revision, they have requested the source codes first on demand before a download be released.

Prooving not to be PCSX:

*PCSX*: CdromLabel: %s
*PCSX*: CdromId: %s

This file is not a psx file
Pcsx found that you wanna use a CPE file. CPE files not supported
Pcsx found that you
wanna use a COFF file. COFF files not supported
STv3 PCSX

*PCSX*: Selected State %ld

Without further ado, we hope yoshihiro the best to release his source codes as soon as possible, but for now, its reccomended for a good jam to wait for the 3.00 PS1 emulator, or use the Capcom Emulator.

(4) Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass (DS)
(5) Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops (PSP)

Final Fantasy XIII: Revenant Wings (PSP)
(9) Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII (PSP)
(10) WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2007 (PSP)

There has been confirmation (many thanks from via Ign.com) that new DS games will topple over the newly released PSP games coming out soon like waffles with too much butter \"Very

You might have thought the shortly arrived FF7 compilation game for the PSP, and the XIII Revenant Wings FF game also for the PSP, would be one of the first on the list, but its Square Softs DS game FFIII the remake (coming to 3D) that has the #1 in the list!
Even Metal Slug couldn\’t take the top three!

"What is perhaps the best Final Fantasy of all time is soon to arrive in America. There\’s been one major change a decade after the release of the original — this is in 3D. The promising DS title has been fully re-imagined and upgraded from its early incarnation. Is it worth the hype? We\’ll know this week when FF III ships."

Well to anyone who has the dreaded 2.8 who refuses to upgrade (which is a smart choice might i add) and is currently in a science class or even a bit of an element buff, here\’s a great application that may be able to help you when you\’re toting around your PSP. There has been a release of the newly updated application called PSPeriodic, which is a TIFF based application (for the 2.8 psp) that has, you guessed it, the periodic table of elements. Although it may not look great, having the periodic table on your PSP may eventually come in handy. The creator of this application, Propel, had this to say, "It\’s ASCII graphics, so it doesn\’t look good but it gets the job done." He would also like to thank the NOOBZ team for their contribution of the tools needed to make such applications such as this or even tetris. Hope anyone who\’s into science or just needs a portable source for the elements, enjoy.

Check out our downloads section to grab this app or check out the link here:
