psp with harddrive

As demonstrated with the iPod, in order to keep up with consumers insatiable appetite you have to upgrade your hardware to meet their demands. It seems that Samsung may have accidently shown Sony's next step during the launch of there new 1.8 inch N-Series Hard drives.

If you look at the picture above, the hardware may look slightly familiar ;) . As CES is coming soon there is a possibility that a formal announcement may be coming soon… or like apple they could try to keep it a secret.

WHO LOVES YA?
DARK_ALEX!

The PSP Homebrew world's Santa just delivered a late Xmas (or any other non-denominational holiday) present to all of us! A legitimate TA-082 Downgrader has been released for those using Firmware 2.71 running HEN-D! It appears to be aimed toward downgrading to 1.5, but there's no word on if it can be used for other firmwares. Here's the instructions from the readme file:

1. Copy the UPDATE and idstoragechange folders into /PSP/GAME/
2. Get the official sony 1.50 eboot and put it in the /PSP/GAME/UPDATE folder with the name of UPDATE.PBP
3. Run HEN-D if you are not already running it.
4. Execute the idstoragechange. It needs 75% battery. It will change some keyes of your idstorage needed to downgrade the ta-082.
5. The program will exit to the XMB. Now execute the generic downgrade, which will show in the xmb as "Update X.YX" in the psp language.
6. The generic downgrader will also need 75% battery. IT will downgrade your psp to 1.50.
7. At the end, it will ask you to press X to restart the psp. Do it.
8. If all went fine, you'll receive a blue screen telling you to press O. Do it, and reenter your settings. Welcome to 1.50.
9. If things didn't go that fine, you'll have a non-functional psp, aka brick.

Have fun, and enjoy your new TA-082 1.5 firmware PSP!

photoshopcs2 logo

For the first time ever, Adobe is delivering a widely available Photoshop CS3 beta to enable customers to more easily transition to the latest hardware platforms, particularly Apple's new Intel based systems. The beta is available as a Universal Binary for the Macintosh platform as well for Microsoft Windows XP and Windows Vista computers, with the final shipping release of Adobe Photoshop CS3 planned for spring 2007.

I don't have it on my computer but I have tried it and it is really great. You can do so much more than with cs2, but its a little confusing at first so you need to put in some time. So you might want to stick with CS2 right now until CS3 is out or until you have some time to play around.
