![]() It's well known that, due to how the market flows, older technology will become cheaper over time. In the field of memory, prices have been dropping lower and lower for quite some time. Newer products such as the 16gb memory stick pro duo have dropped prices considerably for lower capacity memory cards. The question you have to ask yourself is… well… "just exactly WHAT does 'lower capacity' mean anyways!? Consider this. If you bought a 1gb memory stick pro duo in 2005, in the months after the PSP was released, you would have been shelling out anywhere from $85-130. I personally paid $92 for a 1gb card back then. Of course, I knew prices would drop, but wow. While looking over prices at a non- affiliated and very much unrelated website, Newegg.com, I was able to find 8gb memory stick pro duo cards for $54.99. The 4gb models are definitely a bargain! If you're in the market for memory, the time for you to buy might just be right now! For the price I paid for 1gb 3 years ago, I can pretty much get 16gb worth of space today. Memory prices are on the cheap, so if you need the space, it's affordable. At such low prices, you really can't go wrong. Get it and game!

Looks like a beta tester of Waninkoko's Wii Backup Loader has leaked the software. This software has NOT been tested and is advised not to use until a full release is made. As always, if anyone does try this please let us know if it works.
The Wii scene is growing……..
UPDATE: As a result of the leak, Waninkoko has expressed his anger with GBATemp and announced that he has abandoned the project and will no longer be producing any new versions of this app.
UPDATE 2: Since the project has been abandoned and there will not be a new version here are the tools necassary to attempt. We take no responsibility for anything that happens to your console. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!
Step 1. Install the CIOS36_rev5-64-v1042.wad Step 2. Install the DVDX .dol into your apps and setup via Homebrew Channel - Click advanced and set it to 249 Step 3. Create a folder on your SD card in the apps folder and name it Wii Loader (Or whatever else you want) and put dvd-back.dol in there. Step 4. Make sure that "backup-creator.exe" , "common-key" and what .iso you are wanting to backup is in the same folder. - Drag the ISO over the "backup-creator.exe" This will create a new iso called partition.iso Burn with IMGBurn Step 5. It will ask to insert a Wii disc. Insert your backup. Your backup should load. Download the files at:
This has all the tools necassary to start from scratch (Twilight hack, homebrew channel, DVDX, and Wii Backup Loader).

![]() I'm sure if you do a google-search for "Old School", you'll come up with movie hits and such, but I bet that if you keep on looking, you'll find a picture of Zx-81. No really… just keep checking the pages.
This guy is hands-down one of the most renowned emulator developers on the PSP scene and probably holds the record for the most emulators developed/ ported successfully. In any sense, here he is again with a wonderful ported emulator of the Turbo Grafx 16 console. Some people are saying that certain games are a little buggy or cause slowdowns in graphics or audio in certain parts, but that's to be expected. This is a tweaked initial release of this emulator, but that doesn't mean that it's not worth it.
To check out Zx-81's great new emulator of the Turbo Grafx system, just click the link below.

Linkworm has posted a final proof of concept video of loading a backup of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. The final backup loader will hopefully be released in the near future. He also says that this is the work of Waninkoko, but with no official word from Waninkoko himself, we'll have to wait and see with that one. Check it out:

RACE! PSP has now reached version 2.0. The project was picked up by uberjack but was originally started on the PC by it's main creator, flavor. This particular emulator is a very fast and unfortunately, still a little premature. Save states are not yet supported, however, information is saved on the flash memory when returning to the emulator's menu or returning to the XMB. Look out for this one, guys! It's certainly going places.

Hot off the press comes the new release of PSP Filer. This fantastic program, if you didn’t already know, is one powerful piece of homebrew ingenuity. For instance, you can move files around, view UMD files, view flash1 and flash0 files, play MP3/WAV files, view text files and so much more. PSP Filer has come a long way thanks to homebrew developer, Mediumgauge. This version is more or less a bug fix from version 5.5 released just the other day, so get this newer and more stable version and get to tinkering.

Now that the festive update at Apple's "Let's Rock Event" In SanFransisco, lets get a good review on what went on.
First was Apple's iTunes. They have announced that iTunes 8.0 is ready to go. Now this new update of iTunes will most likely contain normal updates and Compatibility Added for iPod Touch 2nd Gen, and iPod Nano 4th Gen.
Second, is the new iPod Touch and iPod Nano Models.
The iPod Touch seems to have some minor improvements, and hopefully a price drop, but since we are all into it, Apple Redisigned the package to a familiar plastic box of goodies.
Now the iPod Nano on the otherhand, has inherited some traits from our Touches. It seems that now, Apple used the Accelorometerin the new iPod. So now this amazing technology isn't iPod Tocuh/iPhone exclusive anymore. They also made some major changes…
Now the third thing I wanted to review is the new iPod Tocuh 2.1 Firmware. Now this firmware is not aavailible yet, but will be a free upgrade to all 2.0 users, and the same nominal fee of $9.99 for 1.1.x users. Here are the new features.
The last, but not least, is the iPod Touch's prices. Here's the Listings.
8GB for $229
16GB for $299 32GB for $399
