Best

Best Buy seems to have the Zune HD in its inventory system for $220 USD for the 16GB model and $290 for the 32GB model. According to this data, the Zune HD will also be released on September 8th. Usually, when these kinds of reports come out, the date is usually a few days to a week off and the price is usually lower than the leaked data. Are you planning on getting a Zune HD?

One of our forum members, kairus101, released Chicken Invaders V1 recently. It’s a clone of the original Chicken Invaders for the PC. All you’ve got to do is put the folder from the Download onto your Memory Stick Pro Duo and launch it up! I’m a personal fan of chickens and I’m sure you’ll love this game! Try it out!

Naru

aznag88 stopped by our forum to release Naruto (Contra Edition) V2 for the PSP.

It’s basically a side-scroller that’s very similar to Contra for the NES but with Naruto characters. You’ve got to make your way to the final boss defeat him and kill his menions along the way.

Here’s what’s new in this update:

  • Platforms
  • 2 bosses
  • Better AI
  • Score
  • Energy
  • Mini-story
  • Every enemy is different and it follows the Naruto anime story
  • 2 Difficulties
  • Combination key for cheating

A while ago I posted a few news posts about the latest firmware (1.4) for the DSi that included some new features like the ability to sync your Facebook account with your console. Also included in the update was some anti-piracy measures but it appears that those measures have now been dooped and the firmware has been opened by R4i Team. No other details are obtainable at this time because of the team’s site is in Engrich.

Apparently, G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra’s UMD requires the user to update to 5.55. No real word yet on what it updates but surely it blocks the 5 exploits people are working on for 5.50 and 5.51. It’s yet to be confirmed but what we all can agree that this will be bypassed soon as this is a warning that a wave of new updates is coming out.
