Thats right! A new SKU (package) of 360s MIGHT be coming our way.  Apparently it will be named Xbox 360 Ultimate(anyone else think Microsoft is going overboard on all the names like this? Whats next, Legendary?)

RUMORED specs(main differences):

320 HDD(overkill to me)

Built in HD-DVD player

Built in Wifi

To tell everyone the truth I expect this to be a false rumor. I have added up the price for this (if ordered how it is now) and it ends up being around $700. Microsoft has already said it hates the PS3's price. Why would they match or go higher then that?

Expected Release: 8/??/08

Argon Programmer Coming Soon

The Infectus team has released a prototype image of Injectus, the USB programmer for their Argon D2C modchip. For 15 Euros (about $22 US) you can have the option of easily reprogramming your Argon chip should the need arise in the future. From the Infectus site:

This revolutionary programmer is very CHEAPER and is the only one in the market that support JTAG programming of ACTEL A3P family in a very easy way. Very HOT product for all DEVELOPERS of VHDL codes.

INJECTUS JTAG is provide with a very easy standard connector where all users can connect FLAT CABLES of INFECTUS PRODUCTS FAMILY. All ARGON users can use this little programmer to update argon firmwares simple connecting the ARGON flat cable.

Some users ask us WHY don't update the modchips by CD or DVD like WIIKEY…
Answer is very simple, with JTAG we have the 100% power to change anything inside the modchip, this allow us to release new unbelivables versions of ARGON firmwares that suppport for example FEW WIRES or new nice features

You can find more information at the Infectus site.

Wii Hack Update 1

xt5 and CyBeR at the Wiinewz forum have given a small update to what exactly has happened with the Wii so far.

- They got the wii keys, and we could use them without hacking our wii again.
– This hack requires a drive modchip to execute the code.
– There is not any tool to sign the code, but it's coming soon.
– They are working to access to the SD thought EXI.
– There is not any stack homebrew for bluetooth
– A linux port for Wii will be released easily.

Again, remember as this is the birth of Wii homebrew, few details are public at this time, but updates will probably be coming soon.

For the First Time, Unsigned Code Runs in Wii Mode

At the 24th Chaos Communication Congress, a Wii running unsigned code for the first time was showcased. Ski Freak at the Nintendo-Scene forums wrote in about it:

"The guys over at 24C3 just demoed a Wii hack that is set to provide native wii homebrew in the near future (not running in GC mode, and with full access to all the Wii hardware!)

They were able to find encryption and decryption keys by doing full memory dumps at runtime over a custom serial interface. Using these keys, they were able to create a Wii ‘game’ that ran their own code (their demo happened to show live sensor/Wiimote information, amongst a few other things)."

The following video taken shows the Wii running some very basic stuff as they had compiled the code just hours before the Wii was showcased. Since this is still very new, there are not a whole lot of details. All the information the public knows as of now is in this video. I think we can all agree that this is a great day for the Wii scene.

If the video doesn't work, you can try the following links.

Ok this is a little old but still a good find. This is the end of the "pandora creation". It will install all the needed files to the memory card for you.

  • It will work for both slim and fat psps
  • It can recognize what kind of psp is being used and will only allow the correct programes to be used.
  • You can make and unmake Pandora batteries
  • Direct install of 3.52M33-4
  • Direct install of 3.71M33-2 (with 1.50 kernel for fat psps)
  • Full 1.50 boot from memory stick
  • Downgrade for fat psp's to 1.50
  • A bunch of tools (key cleaner, nandtool, ect…)
