Hasuky from elotrolado is claiming that he is able to jailbreak his PS3 from his SIXAXIS controller while keeping the controller in a fully functional state. We are expecting an  update with a tutorial tomorrow. Hopefully this works as this makes jailbreaking the PS3 much much easier
