Tommydanger, the creator of the original 3.01 devhook installer, has given us an update to his original work, v0.5b.  This installer can install firmwares 2.8-3.02. here are the instructions:

• Place the desired firmware update on the root of your memory stick and make sure it\’s called "eboot.pbp"
• Install latest devhook and this installer.
• In the XMB menu choose "Devhook Firmware Installer"
• Once prompted hit [X] to install the firmware files for devhook
• Wait till PSP reboots, start Devhook choose firmware and reboot.
• Done

The advantage on this one is that, for you 32 mb stick users, after installation the update is deleted.

Also to those who have had the problem of the X and O buttons being switched, that has been fixed.
