Yep, it's true. Russian developers who go by the name "Team M33" have just released there ground breaking custom firmware, called "3.51 M33". The future of homebrew just got a whole lot brighter due to this achievement. Of course, this firmware version includes all functions of the official firmware v3.51 but with homebrew compatibility. Here is a short list of features:

• Better PSX emulation
• Ability to launch (Some future)UMD's that require firmware v3.51
• Direct launching of ISO's.
• Ability to change the CPU speed.
• (Of course) Recovery Mode
• Customize your icons and more…

The instructions for this ground breaking firmware are included in a readme titled "readme.en" which can be opened by any text editing program. And always, Read the readme so you don't brick. You also need firmware v1.50 or a custom firmware to install this firmware.
