Yes folks, it appears that Sony is, yet again, wisening up to the amazing abilities of the hackers. As many people may have already guessed, Sony’s official PSP-110 battery is already being shipped around. The battery is still exactly that – a battery, only it appears that Sony has made the new line of batteries have "anti-pandora" security features. There's still hope that the PSP will see a new version of the Pandora's Battery hack in the future, but for now at least, it is hindered. If you're still looking to get your hands on a second battery for Pandora's Battery, maybe getting a new, higher capacity battery for normal use is a better option (using your old battery for Pandora's Battery). It is known that there are certain batteries that are made by third-parties that are still capable of the Pandora's Battery hack… so that may also be an option as well. It is unknown at this time if those batteries are going to be upgraded as well or not. Stay tuned, and if we learn anything further – you'll learn along with us.
