Do you still need to use PSNPatch to access the PSN store as a little unsure about the SEN/PSN Enabled in the readme file. I tried with PSNPatch/X option but unable to get download list in Account Management. Signed in OK but failed on some things.
Not a total noob.. just unsure about this.

Not tested PSX/PS2/PSP through WebMan yet but I do have ISO’s ready on PS3 HDD ready in respective folders.

UPDATE. PSX, PS2, PS3 and PSP ISO’s working fine through webMan MOD 1.47.32

Can access download list but get an error.
“An error occurred during the install operation. (80029519)”

Checked error number on internet and tried to activate PS3 but get same error number. Can you look into it please.
PSN Patch/X option used. PSN Patch 2017.02/B installed.

hi, i just updated from evilnat 4.7 to 4.88, the xmb works fine, but everytime i launch an app, the controller wont work, its a 3rd party usb one, but it worked fine on last cfw…please help.

Maybe your issue is related to one of the fixed issues. This is the changelog:
* Fixed random issues in old Cobra 8.3
* Avoids loading stage2 if its size is 0 or higher than 0×1FE00 in stage0 (Avoids brick on NAND and semibrick on NOR)
* Added “Disable Syscalls” option in xai_plugin
* Fixed some empty strings in xai_plugin

Lost a few options with your first release. Had to revert back to Ferrox Version to get back.. Playstation Store was not there in Package Manager for some reason..

PSN Store is a big thing for me.. I have over £300 in purchases from there.. Many x-buys.. So I have paid for PS3 version and have Vita and PS4 versions too of same game.. I don’t want my account banning due to using CFW.. Looking in to buying a PS4 Pro pretty soon.. The Store gives me an Instant library for PS4..

Would you advise switching to OFW and getting the stuff off store and switch back to CFW after for another back-up.. 4Tb NTFS drive ready for PS3 backing up.. and YES.. MultiMan – Restart in CFW mode – Button in Lower Left -> PFS driver.. Scans and then I start the 1Tb backup.. lol

@shin It could be an issue with your controller. Try using a different controller or downgrade to the last version where the controller worked without issues.

I haven’t experienced any issues in the controller.

@Zengobag My advice is that create another account, so you use one for purchases and another only to play online. That way if your account is banned, you don’t lose your purchases from your primary account.

Before login to SEN/PSN, you *always must* disable the CFW syscalls. Doing this your CFW technically is OFW.

NEVER launch a backup manager or homebrews while you’re connected to PSN.

And the most important *DO NOT* use cheats or mods online…

HI, I updated my CFW to CFW 4.88 Evilnat CEX Cobra 8.3 on my fat ps3 and now ps2 games wont load or if they do i just get the starting screen and then it freezes. Any help would be great, and yes I had the ps2 iso on the internal hard drive, and tried irishman and and webman games still wont load.

@retro_king If CFW 4.88 Evilnat CEX Cobra 8.3 is causing issues, use the latest Rebug Toolbox 2.03.06 to enable the QA flags, reboot then install your previous CFW.

If the problem still persists on the previous CFW, then the issue could be the ISO images or a hardware issue.

Follow the instructions: Rebug Toolbox 2.03.06 is compatible. I made the changes.

If QA flags are enabled, you can downgrade to any FW version.

ha cool, thanks aldostools, the Rebug Toolbox 2.03.06 works, I managed to get one ps2 game working, but then when I tried castlevania i get the loading screen then have to reswitch my ps4 dual controller back on by ps button, then soon as I do that the screen freezers and I have to reboot

Rebug 4.86.1 LITE Cobra 8.2 <= Suggested if you have issues with CFW Evilnat 4.88.2
Rebug 4.84.2 REX Cobra 8.1 <= Suggested if you need DEX features.

If QA flags are enabled, there is no limitation in the number of installations.
You can install any CFW version lower or higher. Just do not install OFW. Only CFW.

Rebug 4.84.2 REX allows to convert CEX console to DEX and back to CEX using Rebug Toolbox.

need your help again @aldostools so I downgraded to Rebug 4.84.2 REX Cobra 8.1 ps2 games work fine now, but i want to play psn ps3 games that I have a collection off, but FATER I Installed the pkg to the psn game and used psnpatch I get an error message when i try to load the game, so anyway i found that i need to log into my psn account to activate psn games to be able to play them, but i cant log in due to the fact im on cfw 4.84.2 firmware, so i tried to follow a tutorial lastnight regards to update text file, but it requires me loading multiman and going into File manager / mmos but it says in brackets its disabled, so now Im clueless on how i can get around to playing psn games on my fat ps3, any help would be great?

Your options to activate an account are:
1- Use Apollo Save Tools to create a fake PSN account
2- Use reActPSN > Create aa user and run reActPSN to generate PSN license from USB/exdata.
3- Upgrade to Evilnat 4.88.2 > activate the PSN account > stay in 4.88.2 if everything works or downgrade to Rebug 4.84.2 if necessary

If the game/DLC is signed as FREE npDRM, they do not require a rap in exdata. All purchased games/DLC require a rap (except if the right information file (rif) is already installed).

The packages should be placed in the root of USB or in /dev_hdd0/packages to show in Package Manager.

@ghost1991 it is not enough to wipe the history.

You must also disable the CFW syscalls before login to PSN.

This CFW implements a new safety feature that blocks the Sign to PSN screen if the CFW syscalls are enabled.
There is an option in Network > CFW Tools that let you disable the syscalls.

It is recommended to also disable the auto-login to PSN.

@ghost1991 reboot after you finish with PSN to enable the CFW syscalls.

This new CFW allows to re-enable the CFW syscalls without reboot.
However, it is recommended to disconnect from PSN before do it to prevent exposing your console (e.g. other users can see when you open homebrews)

If you reboot, there are less possible mistakes.

Hi guys . I have succes installing the firmware but i have one problem. the one that i’m installed is cfw with no+bt but my ps3 bluetooth still work properly, so when i turn on the cfw mode, i can’t connect the controller and my wifi. I want to reinstall the cfw back. so do i need to remove cfw before start install the firmware back? or just direct installing the cfw, overite the same cfw?

Fake save data is a debug feature available in Rebug REX 4.84.2

in rebug I have a problem that I cannot update cfw to 4.88 evilnat, it does not find the relevant files on the usb, yet I was on rebug 4.84 D-REX EDITION and I switched to rebug 4.86 LE EDITION without problems, how can I update rebug to evilnat, someone explain it to me. Thanks

@MoDzITALY you need to put the PUP on the USB drive in the folder X:\PS3\UPDATE

The PUP must be named PS3UPDAT.PUP (verify that you are showing the file extensions)
Install the PUP from XMB or from Recovery menu.

If you have issues accessing your USB drive, you can FTP the PUP file to /dev_hdd0/updater/01
The PUP can have any name in that folder.

You need to enable QA Flags in Rebug Toolbox and enable Debug Update in QA menu.
To see QA menu put the cursor focus on Network Settings, then press L1+L2+R1+R2+DOWN+L3

There will be a new option in System Update menu that will let you install from the System Storage device.

You don’t need SEN Enabler with Evilnat CFW.
The CFW has integrated a set of new tools to allow the access to PSN in a safe way.

One of the measures is that the PSN login is disabled by default. You’re forced to disable the CFW syscalls to gain the access.

There are other tools that allow to create a fake account that let you play PSN games without going online.

Install RetroArch CE, Unplug all USB devices, and scan the directories.
If the PS3 doesn’t crashes, plug the USB devices adding one by one.
