There have been rumors going around saying that a Playstation 4 is in the works, and it will be released later this year. That is mostly true, Sony is working on the PS4, but a launch is not planned until after 2010. This does not mean that the PS3 will be cancelled anytime soon; but it means that Sony is planning ahead.
