[PS3] PC games on your PS3 and ad-free YouTube: two new apps from TheErsysEnding

Two new ones in the store from TheErsysEnding, both built on top of mohasi’s apps that are already in there.

TEE Remote PlayTEE Remote Play 1.1.0
Remote Play, but backwards. Your PC streams its screen to the PS3 and the DualShock 3 controls the PC, so you can play your PC games from the couch through the PS3. It’s based on mohasi’s Cell Stream but takes it a lot further: up to 1080p at 60fps (around 40-47ms on a wired connection by the dev’s numbers, 720p60 is more like 25-30ms), gameplay recording with sound that shows up right in the XMB video folder, a Linux server, and a Windows server with a proper settings window. It installs next to Cell Stream instead of over it, so you can keep both.

You need the server running on your PC too, grab the Linux .deb or the Windows installer from the GitHub releases. The Windows server is still on 1.0.1 for now, so the new vsync pacing (latency with vsync went from ~72ms to ~40ms) is Linux only until Windows catches up. Use a cable if you can, and set it to 59.94fps since that’s what the PS3 actually runs at.

TEE VancedTEE Vanced 0.12 beta
Ad-free YouTube with no Google account, forked from mohasi’s Yo! Player. You get a sidebar so you’re not memorizing shoulder buttons, an actual settings screen (no more editing settings.txt over FTP), and SponsorBlock where each category can be auto-skipped, skipped with a button press, or left alone. There are also local playlists, watch history, Continue Watching, and a PS button workaround for DS4/DualSense pads (SELECT on the home screen, L3 during playback).

Heads up: it uses the same title ID as Yo Player!, so installing it replaces Yo Player! on your system. Want the original back? Just reinstall it from the store. Also turn off any VPN on the PS3, YouTube won’t play anything through one.

Grab them from the Brewology Store: TEE Remote Play and TEE Vanced.
