![]() If you’ve been bouncing between revival servers you know the routine. Network Settings, custom setup, punch in the DNS, test the connection, then do it all over again for the next game. Two devs got fed up with that too, and both of their fixes just went up in the store.
One thing to know: a lot of games look up the DNS before you even go online, so switching only works from the XMB. Quit the game, swap the server, start the game again. Tha_14 actually started this back in 2022, shelved it when the PS3 wouldn’t reload its network settings cleanly, and came back to finish it after people kept asking about it. Heads up if you’re on HEN with webMAN MOD: one person has had trouble getting HEN to enable after installing it. 1.1 has some safeguards for it, but if it happens to you, add what you’re running to the issue on GitHub so it can get tracked down.
Want it in the XMB menu? qDNSm. Rather have an app that keeps your profiles sorted? ezDNS. They’re both open source under MIT, so try both and see which one sticks. |
