3 PSVita homebrew apps were updated in the Brewology PSVita Store today:
Halo CE Vita v1.1.2 by BirchWoodGod
Halo CE for PS Vita 1.1.2
File Share with friends, a lot more Forge, touch on the Vita, and crossplay with today's PC servers (OpenCE 40 and 41). Install halo-ce-vita-1.1.2-vita.vpk with VitaShell over your current Halo CE; maps, saves and settings carry over. In-game updates: Settings > Game > Updates (from 1.1.1 on, the update is signed and checked before it is kept).
New
- File Share with friends. FRIENDS > a friend who is online > FILE SHARE: browse the map variants and game variants they share and download one (you are asked first). Share your own files, stop sharing, or send one to a friend (they are asked before anything arrives). Friends only; every file is checked before it is saved and a downloaded variant never replaces yours.
- Touch. Drag a menu list to scroll it. In Forge: drag an object or a spawn point to move it; a second finger down while carrying turns it. Works in network Forge games. Settings panel: Touch in Forge.
- Forge. Teleporters (sender and receiver on a channel), your own game type spots (CTF flags, King hills, Oddball spawns, Race checkpoints), object physics (Normal, Fixed, Phased), nudge in 1, 5, 10 or 25 cm steps, magnets that snap blocks flush, and a position readout. Players on 1.1.1 can't join a Forge game whose map uses the new features; they are told they need a newer Halo CE. Maps without them still work.
- Crossplay. OpenCE network versions 40 and 41 join from the server browser, with their refusal reasons shown in words. A signed version list can add future PC versions without a game update (Settings > Vita and PC > PC versions list: Auto or Built-in).
- Setup for PC. The install helper is a standard wizard: pick the platform, then Automatic (your MCC) or Manual (Xbox files + Custom Edition), and it downloads, verifies and installs the signed PC build.
