If an update ever fails, download VitaXMB-v1.10.2.vpk from this page and install it with VitaShell.

Warning: columns of your own, Emulators and Utilities do not work with every custom theme. Themes that paint the whole category bar (full-height panels or strips, like the Xbox 360 and Euphoria style ones) have no picture for them. While such a theme is on, each of those columns appears as a folder under Game > Memory Stickā„¢ (with its folders inside it). Other themes show them with VitaXMB's own icons, which will not match the theme. Switch the theme off (Settings > Theme Settings > Custom Theme > Off) to see your columns on the bar.

New in 1.10.2:

  • Rename apps. Triangle on an app in the Game column, in a folder or in one of your columns opens Options with Rename. Only the title shown on the bar changes; the app, its bubble and its files stay as they are. Leave the name empty to get the original title back. A name survives Refresh List and a restart.

Fixed in 1.10.2:

  • Smoother navigation. Several things made the bar stutter now and then; each is gone:
  • the moving wave is built on a second thread (it took more than half a frame of the main thread);

SoulCalibur VitaSoulCalibur Vita v.1.2 by Rinnegatamante

  • Updated to latest vitaGL usage.
  • Disabled the internal game framepacer (Now when the game drops below 60 fps frame budget, it won't lock at 30 fps but instead keep running at as high as possible FPS).
  • Enabled scratch memory and draw speedhack flags in vitaGL (This brings a boost up to 250% in performances, smoothening the pre-fight screens and making the game almost locked 60 FPS).

1.1.0

Highlights Smoother 50 / 60 fps channels: 720p at 50 / 60 fps now plays every picture (it was 25-30 a second).

My List: one list of your own from the live channels of any of your playlists. Select > Add to My List in a channel list or while watching; it shows as the first row of the playlists, grouped by playlist.

Fast list opening: Xtream and M3U-link playlists open at once from the copy saved last time, also without a connection. The list is downloaded again in the background and replaced at a quiet moment when it changed.

Sound (Select > Audio and the settings, all off by default): Volume boost (+3 / +6 / +9 dB with a limiter), Clear sound for the Vita's small speakers, Clear speech for 5.1 films (the voices louder in the stereo mix).

Reordering Reorder favourites, Reorder My List and the new Reorder playlists (Select): X picks an item up and puts it down, any number of them, START saves; O asks "Save the new order?" when something moved.

A new look The settings and the playlist form are cards like the playlists, with larger, lighter letters, switches for on / off and arrows for choices; the line at the bottom says what the selected setting does.

ViTube MusicViTube Music v1.3 by PupueStudios

A YouTube Music client for the PS Vita. Search for a song, hit play, and autoplay radio keeps the music going. It runs entirely on the console, no companion server or PC needed.

Fixed a bug related with autoplay. Added an option to loop songs.

Please report any bug or whatever you find in the Issues page.

Install

  1. Copy the .vpk to your PS Vita (USB or FTP) and install it with VitaShell.
  2. In the HENkaku settings enable "Enable unsafe homebrew" (the installer needs extended permissions).
  3. Start VitaSend and open LocalSend on another device on the same Wi-Fi.

See the README and the user guide. VitaSend is GPL-3.0-or-later and not affiliated with LocalSend or Sony.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles VitaTeenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Vita v0.3 by ZekLab

LiveArea with the game's logo and title art (icon, background and start screen).

The code is the same as v0.2, so a tmnt_code.so made for v0.1 or v0.2 keeps working. If the LiveArea does not change after installing over an older version, delete the app and install the VPK again: the saves in ux0:data/TMNT2003/ are kept.

See the README for installation.

If you enjoy the port, you can buy me a coffee.
