As of now not all homebrew works for the new eLoader but you can see what HAS been tested on the new versions at the trusty homebrew database: http://psp-homebrew.eu/ You will need to download a different loader depending on your firmware, which will be provided below. Here is what fanjita has to say so far: Noobz are proud to announce the release of the latest eLoader version, 0.9.8, otherwise known as the "Porter" release. This version brings user-mode homebrew to v2.0-v2.6 PSPs, without the need for Grand Theft Auto. Now, almost all the software that worked with GTA can now be used without it. You can view a list of the known working homebrew for this version in the Please consider helping out other eLoader users by signing up for an account, and adding your test results too. Other changes:
By now you\’re probably wondering, "What on earth is Porter?". Or maybe, what\’s next? Well, here\’s a rough roadmap for what we\’re currently working on:
We will not predict when these will be ready (so please don\’t ask!), but we\’re working as fast as we can on them. So for all of you who have the "cursed" firmware, this is a new ray of hope so you don\’t have to load GTA every time you want to play SNES or something of that nature for a few minutes of downtime (trust me I can relate, it does suck having to boot GTA). So for all of you TA-082 users this should be great news, same goes for those stuck on 2.8, and please show your appreciation for Fanjita and his teams work by registering (for free) at the homebrew database and post your reseluts, that\’s the LEAST you can do I hope that this is going to be a new and better future on our quest for the use and controll of OUR own PSP\’s, and THANKS AGAIN FANJITA FOR YOUR BEAUTIFUL WORK!!!
