What a crazy day for the PS3. Sony apparently has no idea what is the reason behind just about every single one of their customers not being able to connect to the Playstation Network. The errors occurred early afternoon (PST) and they kept on coming. There may be only one answer during these dark times and although the prospect of spending time without your video games and instead investing it with your loved ones and families… the answer may be to buy an Xbox 360. No, of course that’s a cheap shot, but it makes you wonder what is exactly going on?
The rampant speculation about “Sony phasing out the fatties” is already hitting the airwaves. I, personally, feel it’s just a typical server downtime and whether planned or not should return to optimal working status within hours, but some people would rather believe it’s judgment day. Kotaku and Gizmodo have both picked up on the story so far with nothing much to add other than “nobody seems to know what is going on”, although, oddly enough, it seems that most people who claim to have a slim PS3 are experiencing no issues at all… which may prove that Sony hates black fatties. |
