OperationNT414C has released ShellSecBat version V5 for the PSVita.

Configuration support has been added, it can be done though a “ShellSecBat.txt” file. Read the documentation for further information.
As consequence, “ShellDateSecBat” plugin has been removed because the same thing can be done through this configuration possibility (see “ShellDateSecBat/ShellSecBat.txt” file).

Some new features has been added (their state can be changed with configuration):
* Possibility to have year in the date display
* Customisable separators for date and drive space decimal displays
* Support of “imc0″ and “grw0″ partitions on drive display
* Automatically skip unmounted partitions
* Possibility change “free space” with “occupied space”
* Customisable key combination to switch drive display

TheOfficialFlow has released VitaShell version 1.83 for the PSVita.

Install this new vpk by opening it as zip and copy `eboot.bin` to `ux0:app/VITASHELL/eboot.bin` if using VitaShell. If using molecularShell, you have to delete `ux0:patch/VITASHELL` first, then you can install the vpk. This must be done manually because the automatic update method has been changed.

- Fixed automatic network update by using rawgit. This was needed because github removed support for TLS 1.0/1.1.
- Removed changelog support, because the files at ux0:patch must now be pfs encrypted.

* Added plugin loading from `ux0:tai/config.txt` (where `ux0` is the newly mounted USB storage). If that file exists, when the plugin is loaded, it will tell taiHEN to use that file instead of `ur0:tai/config.txt`. Kernel plugins in `ur0:tai/config.txt` will always be loaded first (including `usbmc.skprx` of course), then once that’s done, kernel plugins from `ux0:tai/config.txt` will be loaded. Application plugins will *no longer* load from `ur0:tai/config.txt` (it will be ignored). Instead only `ux0:tai/config.txt` will be considered. If this sounds confusing or you don’t like it, **do not** create `ux0:tai/config.txt`.

- Fix clock states not being properly saved when clock state was the only thing modified.
- Reload config when button combo is entered.
- VITABattery’s fully integrated as a toggle. You can now toggle battery percent, hours remaining and temp.
- Quick launcher now has 5 modifiable slots. (Once the launcher.cfg file is generated in ur0:/data/vsh/launcher.cfg, feel free to change the title and title IDS to your preference. Keep in mind you can’t use spaces for the title’s name and you can’t go above 5 (0-4) slots in the meantime.)
- Major src clean up.
