Looks like we’ve seen a lot of cool stuff come out for the PS3 in regard to their highest firmware, 3.50. Recently, a jailbreak has been released, along with a downgrader to allow users to downgrade to 3.41 or any other firmware they please. (Even ones that include OtherOS!!) To downgrade, you’re going to have to have the E3 card, the downgrade BIN, and the modified PUP files: Download the E3 downgrader: Here Download the modified PUP update: Here As you can see, you don’t need to downgrade to run the jailbreak! For now, you’re going to have to wait for a download, though… :O |

Flash 10.2 has recently been released providing a far better user experience to Flash users, knocking down the CPU resources with some reports saying it dropped their CPU use from 50-80% to 5-15%. A worthwhile upgrade indeed! Sadly, Chrome uses a dedicated, preinstalled Flash player unable to be easily upgraded with the usual download and install method. Some reports state disabling the currently installed flash and installing the 10.2 update works, while others (such as myself) have had trouble with that. This is a surefire way to upgrade Chrome’s Flash Player to 10.2! How to-Install the Flash 10.2 Beta on Chrome (32 Bit Windows…)- Download and Install the Flash 10.2 player for Other Browsers from this link. Next, locate the file NPSWF32.dll in C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash Copy it. Go to C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application\CurrentBuildNumber and find the file GCSWF32.dll Rename it to GCSWF321.dll (for safekeeping) Paste the NPSWF32.dll file here and rename it to GCSWF32.dll There you go, you updated Chromes Internal Flash to 10.2 To make sure you have it working correctly go to about:plugins and find flash and look at its details. |

Scognito, creator of Sconsole and writer of the PSL1GHT Setup Guide has recently informed us via his twitter account about his current progress with his portation of scogger, which is already available on several other gaming devices, to the PS3. Scogger is a simple homebrew game where you control a frog and hop across tree trunks to solve a puzzle. There is currently no download yet available.

I’ve got little words for this. Seems very legitimate. A while back, many companies started stating that they had the PSP2 in their hands, even though Sony denied it when confronted. Now, images are popping up of the test kit that the developers are saying that they’re testing. As you can see from this image, the PSP 2 will have a trackpad on the back, like it has been stated before, two analog sticks, two cameras, and a PSP Go-like body (actually looks more like the Mylo COM-1). Very little word has been put out about specs of the device, but it it said to rival the XBox 360 in graphics power in respect to screen size. Another rumor going along with this one is that the PSP 2 will come in two seperate models. One that is more like the PSP-1000 model and one like the PSP Go. Discussion: Here Source: Here |
